This house sits high looking over a brook and into an extensive tree canopy. NDA was asked to prepare designs for a new kitchen/dining/utility range and we proposed a new steel frame to carry the upper storey so that the interior was unaffected by constructional restraints. The dining area has triple sliding doors on two sides of the corner allowing open views to the canopy and garden. Internally sliding glass screens separate the utility/kitchen area and the clients are delighted with the scheme. Dates: 2002-2004
